The Benton Central Lady Bison continued their strong start to the season with an impressive 3-2 victory on the road at West Lafayette in Hoosier Conference action on Thursday. Leading the way for the Lady Bison were dominant performances across all three singles positions. Violet Hardebeck set the tone at #1 Singles with a commanding 6-2, 6-0 win. Emma Hinds battled through a competitive first set at #2 Singles, securing a 7-6 (7-1), 6-2 victory. Taryn Klemme completed the singles sweep in emphatic fashion at #3 Singles, rolling to a 6-0, 6-0 win. With the victory, Benton Central improves to 2-0 on the season and continues to build momentum early in conference play. The Lady Bison will return to action this Saturday, April 11th, as they compete in the Logansport Invitational at 10 AM.
